About Midnight on Front Street 2021
One of the best Hattiesburg traditions is Midnight on Front Street. Needless to say, Midnight on Front Street 2021 is no different. At the moment, they’re planning for more than 10,000 excited visitors. As a frame of reference, they welcomed 4,000 folks in 2018 and double that in 2019!
What can I do at Midnight on Front Street?
The short answer: have a good time.
The longer answer: you can ring in the new year in Downtown Hattiesburg with friends old and new. The event features:
- Live music;
- Food vendors;
- Drink vendors;
- The Hub Sign Drop; and
- A fantastic fireworks show.
Visiting details
Midnight on Front Street will be here before you know it! It kicks off on Dec. 31 with food and beverage vendors opening at 7 p.m. and is projected to last through about 12:30 a.m. on Jan. 1. You can find the festivities in Downtown Hattiesburg at the intersection where Main Street and Front Street meet.
Good news for parents
Additionally, if you can’t find a sitter for the kiddos on New Year’s Eve (a nearly impossible task), don’t stress. You can bring your children to the kids’ zone for fun and supervision as you celebrate. Previously, it has featured holiday movies and snacks like cotton candy and popcorn.

I purchased tickets today for the switch yard event for new year’s for me and my girlfriend. I got home to find out I will have my 10 year old granddaughter. Is the kids zone available to her & if so what time, how much, & any other details would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
