The First Day of Fall is just days away–which means Halloween is quickly approaching! To kick off the spooky season, Hattiesburg Parks and Recreation is hosting an eerie-sistible outdoor movie event during Scary Movie Saturday 2023.
About Scary Movie Saturday 2023
Scary Movie Saturday 2023 will consist of two movie showings on October 21st at Town Square Park. The two showings will include a family-friendly movie and an adult movie for those older than 17.
For the family-friendly movie, the fan-favorite and Pixar classic “Monsters, Inc.” will be shown. It will start at 6:30 and play until 8 p.m. Starting directly after, “Night of the Living Dead” will be shown for adults only.
So, grab your chairs and blankets and get ready to kick off the Halloween season—this is a free public event! You are also encouraged to bring snacks and beverages, but there will be vendors on site with treats available for purchase.
