Calling all bluegrass fans! It’s time to tap your toes and clap your hands to the high-energy, fast-tempo sounds of Greensky Bluegrass at the Saenger Theater on Friday, November 17th.
About Greensky Bluegrass at the Saenger Theater
Affectionately referred to as the “Grateful Dead of the progressive bluegrass scene,” Greensky Bluegrass is bringing their unique brand of American music to the historic theater in downtown Hattiesburg next month.
Known for their jamming concerts, seeing Greensky Bluegrass in person is an experience in and of itself. While their set list is full of compelling original material, the bluegrass band has earned a reputation for turning popular tunes from different genres into something of their own.
For example, concert goers may very well hear a special rendition of Prince’s “1999” or The Allman Brothers Band’s “Ain’t Wastin’ Time No More.” And it should come as no surprise that the band’s studio albums and live recordings are as popular as their electrifying concerts.
